Andalucia

Andalucia has so much to offer. If you choose to spend your holidays in this southern part of Spain, you’ll not only enjoy sun and pleasant temperatures all year round, but you’ll also have the opportunity to explore its diverse surroundings and dive into some very traditional activities and experiences. Andalucia is a region full of a history, cultural and culinary traditions and offers a breathtaking landscape.

Some recommended day trips from Lomas del Marqués are for instance Ronda, Malaga, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez or Cadiz. Sevilla is a bit further away but definitely worth a visit. Go for some wonderful trips through the mountains, weather you drive north, through the craggy mountains around Ronda (which encompass the nature reserve of Sierra de Grazalema) or to the Sierra Nevada, Spain’s highest mountain range. The Mulbacén reaches 3482 m and is located only 40 km from the Mediterranean beaches.

A bit to the north, the province of Cordoba reveals endless olives groves and provides stunning views for miles and miles of driving. Much closer, the Sierra Blanca and Sierra de las Nievas can offer you some wonderful views and enjoyable hiking days. Whatever your interests or mood, Andalucia has a lot to offer, all year round.
